This what market forecasters want t in every industry as Audi, the luxury car auxiliary of Volkswagen AG has announced that its sales in China Rise rapidly by 43.5% year on year to 225,588 vehicles 2010.Accomplishing its intended sales goal of 2015 in advance. These are the figure are given by Audi Chief Executive Rupert Stadler five years in advanced.
Volkswagen unit Audi is " Very Reverend with overall unit sales in January, 2010, and may reach sales of 280,000 in China in 2011,. Last financial year 227,000 vehicles have been delivered to customers and the estimate of 2011 is 280,000 units of Audi. Rupert Stadler also mention that it’s not possible to show 43% annual growth rate of sale for China every year and highlighted that the sales growth of Audi is moderate in Germany.
Audi achievements in the sales growth is because of the variety of its new models and the enhanced brand influence in China.Catagory wise tripling the series sales from 2010 Sales of the Audi Q5 were 32,466 units and of the Audi A6L were 111,128 units. Audi also sold 55,686 units of Audi A4L compact models in 2010.
Today in Changchun, the Company increased its production capacity to 300,000 units mainly Audi produces the A6L, the A4L and, since 2009, the Q5. For the Chinese market Audi also expanding its dealership network and service stations from 157 locations in 106 cities to over 400 dealerships by 2013.
In Asia with the flourishing number of second-time buyers to prove their social status, the luxury car segment is expected to keep double-digit growth in the next five years.
