Motorbikes 'to get safe driving aids'

Parents now don’t have to worry about the their adolescents riding Motorbikes .As the scientist are working  on to put the safety aids more often  founds on cars  viz: sporting collision detection , speed limits, the tightness of road bends and information about other vehicles to aid lane-changing and other safety features. Scientists are testing on to put all the safety measures to alert the biker’s dangers on the road.
Researchers of the Saferider systems takes the driver safety systems as standard as on cars and tries to suit them to the radically distinctive needs of motorcyclists. It is found out that 22% of all road fatal accidents involve bike riders and is main reasons of rise in number of deaths. Making safety systems on motorbikes The Saferider system allows bikers to convey SOS alerts (a visual distress signal) and danger of terminal potential misfortune

Researchers of Saferiders are working to use haptic (the sense of touch), tactile feedback systems to safely get the alert the biker and warn them about other vehicles or give help at junctions.

Research engineers outfitted the systems that has haptic handles, radar and gloves, laser scanners, smart helmet-cameras ,a vibrating seat, lights, as well as a boxes hung over the rear wheel of a vehicle full of the electronics that analyze data gathered by the sensors and pump out warnings. Also developed the software which alerts about the speed one should be travelling to make it round a bend. Radar(in the cheek pad of helmet) helps to rectify the helmet restriction of visibility and riders can move their head regularly to check.

Motorbike collision detection systems will warn a rider about in the case of a vehicle travelling in the same direction as the bike, following it while slowing. The safety systems could be very useful to less experienced bike riders.

The prototypes demonstrated by Saferiders showed it was capable to fit such safety systems on motorbikes and manufacturers would start to put them on bikes within the next 18 months to two years.
